Note: Faroese money isn't a separate currency, but a local issue of the Danish Krone. It was first made by the British during the WWII occupation since Denmark couldn't provide currency for the islands. The coins are identical to contemporary Danish onces except for the lack of the heart-shaped Copenhagen mintmark. After the war, Denmark continued to produce unique banknotes for the Faroes, but no unqiue coins have been made since WWII.
