I created this website on March 23, 2026 as a place online to share my collection and information about coins and banknotes. I'd been considering making one for some time but was hesitant as I didn't really know if I could put together such a large and complicated project, but I'm trying my best with the tools available on neocities. This site is still largely under construction and probably will be for some time.

I've been collecting for a long time, as a kid I used to pull out commemorative coins from change, and family would give me foreign coins when coming back from trips. When I was 13, coincidentlaly when I started taking an interest in world history and geography, I found a store at a local mall that sold coins, and that's when I started "seriously" collecting. I've been at it more than 15 years now and my collection includes thousands of coins from hundreds of different countries.
